Evolution of the Tight-End Position: A Fantasy Football Analysis

No single position has been revolutionized more than the tight-end position in football.  In the “old days,” fantasy football players simply looked to fill the tight-end position with anybody that would just touch the football a few times a week.  Fantasy football players also tried to out draft any of their counterparts that were fortunate enough to pick-up marquee tight-ends like Tony Gonzalez, Antonio Gates, Dallas Clark, and Jason Witten by drafting better wide receivers.  However, that has all changed. Running Backs: Pre-Season Fantasy Football Rankings

Now that we’ve covered the all important quarterback position in fantasy football, it’s time to rank running backs for the 2012 season.  Even though the value of running backs have plummeted compared to just a few seasons ago, fantasy football players LOVE their running backs!  It’s the one position on the football field where the player can break a huge run and even catch a short pass and break it for a score.  Running backs make watching a football game fun because it requires grit, toughness, and a go-to attitude.  Continue reading

Notable Offensive & Defensive Free Agents – Post-NFL Draft – Fantasy Football
