It’s been almost five months since the Giants brought home the BIG prize – a Super Bowl Championship!  It’s time to get the fantasy football season started with our divisional previews.

The Fantasy Greek has always started his previews with a look at the AFC East.  This division has been dominated by the Patriots for what feels like some time now.  But, in terms of second place, it always seems up for grabs.  This season, it looks like it could be the Bills turn to give the Patriots a run at the division title. Now that we have covered the ranking of teams with the least favorable schedules in fantasy football by position, it’s time to turn our attention to those team with favorable schedules.  Below, you will find a ranking of those teams with FAVORABLE schedules for the 2012 season.  This is purely a statistical analysis based on fantasy points allowed by position in 2011, through Weeks 16 and 17 (depending on the length of your fantasy football season).  Continue reading

Unfavorable Fantasy Football 2012 Schedules – By Position

For those of you who followed The Fantasy Greek through the latter part of the 2010 season, and 2011 season, you may recall The Fantasy Greek provided in Weeks 11 and 13, as a planning tool for your rosters, a ranking of those teams with the best and worst schedules for Weeks 14 to 16 and Weeks 15 to 17, (the weeks of most fantasy football league playoffs), for each primary fantasy position: QB, RB, WR, TE, and DST.  Even though the 2012 season is now almost two months away, we can still look ahead to team schedules and get a sense of where teams stand in terms of their strength of schedule, by position, for fantasy football purposes.
